Cheema - an obvious derivation from the Italian "cima" - acts as a human instrument that brings the traditions of Puglia into the club, using electronic music as a universal language for cultural sharing. Since 1996, Cheema has been an integral part of the music scene, starting as a deejay, moving on to producer and finally becoming a live artist with advanced sound management technologies. The acquisition of new live techniques has allowed Cheema to experiment and collaborate with over 60 musicians to date. This exploration has produced several musical proposals that span various genres. The artist extends the voice of Puglia to the world with care and particular attention, finely balancing the elegance of electronics with the rich tradition of local dialects. This delicate balance exists in the spectrum between experimentation and dancefloor atmosphere.

Pulliatronica blends indie with the "sound" of dialects and folk songs from Puglia in a sound mood that has its roots in electronic music, the primary expressive vehicle to wink at the dance hall that is popular at festivals and in the major national and international clubs.
After having released four eclectic singles accompanied by remixes by international artists such as 1979, Of Norway, Enzo Elia and DJ Naughty, Pulliatronica comes out with nine tracks that are the result of constant research that explores three decades of Italian dance music with songs with dialects from the areas of Bari, Salento, Gargano and Valle D'Itria. Cheema invites listeners on a journey that is as authentic as it is innovative, a true celebration of the Apulian tradition seen through the lens of electronic music. The album has been supported by prestigious artists such as Joris Voorn, Tiefschwarz and Kevin Saunderson as well as receiving the appreciation of musicians such as Timo Maas and John Digweed
